Jaime Goodman
Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine

About Me

Jaime Goodman was born and raised in California. From there she moved to Eugene, OR and studied voice, completing a music degree at Bushnell University. After graduation she and her husband moved to Colorado where their four children were born. She completed her Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007 at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and ran her own clinic for nearly a decade. In 2016 she and her family moved to Texas where she took time off from her career to focus on family life, study Western herbology, and work at a local herb shop. She started working in a clinical setting again in late 2020 after moving to Asheville and now focuses exclusively on house calls in her patients' homes or places of work.

In 2011 Jaime traveled to northern India to serve the local and Tibetan refugee population while completing an intensive program on women and children’s health under the direct supervision of the esteemed Soma Glick. She has also spent several years studying Christian spiritual formation and resonates strongly with helping her patients understand the interconnection of their whole person: physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional.

From December 2021 through June 2024, Jaime was a clinic supervisor at Daoist Traditions College of Medical Arts. She enjoyed helping to train up the next generation of Chinese Medicine practitioners.

Outside of clinic and domestic life, Jaime enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, and singing. She and her family are loving life in the Blue Ridge mountains!
